Honduras

Larry calls Honduras a blow-out success. Excellent angels, spectacular results. A few handfulls of tomato seeds in a village devastated by a hurricane resulted in a cash crop of 9 tons of surplus tomatoes.

No other outside aid had reached the village of Trujillo. When an aid truck finally rolled into town weeks after the hurricane hungry people expected food, especially beans. What a surprise when the doors were opened to reveal diapers, one aid agency's idea of critical aid. In the meantime, Larry's angel used a radio station to broadcast news of a seed give-away which resulted in the surplus tomatoes. The 2nd photo is property of Ben Conner.
