Australian Bald

We received these seeds originally from our dear friend, Greg Schoen; he got them from the Pacific Grain Institute.

Also available via KUSA: “Australian Bald Skinless Barley” is a spring growth-habit, awnless, naked-barley which exhibited good stem strength during the Kusa Seed organization grow-outs. The small-sized grain of this strain produced plants that were exposed to multiple nights of 16° F. temperatures, at 30 days of age, without harm.
