Ezeer

Ezeer is a hull-less perennial wheat developed by Tim Peters by crossing annual domestic wheat, Triticum, to a perennial wild relative, Thinopyrum. This project was still in rough draft stage when Tim stopped working on it, so the plants are not as reliably winter hardy as we might like. Tim called it Ezeer, presumably a description indicating that it's more easily threshed. Best planted in late summer.
